This collection of compositions were made for and performed at 'NC Live: Listening', at South London Gallery, 11.03.23, to close New Contemporaries 2022.

FOR [FOUR] PORTALS / 60.B is an investigation and meditation on an archive that dates back more than 30 years. The work explores the spectres of aural nostalgia, delays and the possibilities of time travel, sampling and loop [theory], repetition as a communicative aide, and rhythmic hypnosis. They are littered with sonic spectres that join us from a bygone era, belonging to a non-time, attached to a collective memory somewhere.
